Mountain biking

Many of the mountain bike tours start when you pick up your hire bike at the Oberforsthof and continue under the watchful eye of our biking fan manager. All the mountain bike trails are well away from roads with high levels of traffic mainly following forest trails. Some trails have been so carefully compiled that they are suited to even the least expert rider.

Lower level cycle tour

If you dont want to cycle up where the air is thinner then you will enjoy the 30 km long family-friendly trail along the Tauern Cycle Trail. Sankt Johann/Pongau lies directly on the 180 km long trail. The Tauern Cycle Trail is one of the most beautiful cycle trails in Austria. It runs from Krimml via Sankt Johann and Salzburg to Passau.
