The Tauern Cycle Path is better than any adventure park, because it offers far more than just sporting kicks and nature experiences. This is particularly true of the fourth stage, which leads from St. Johann via Bischofshofen, Pfarrwerfen, Werfen and the gentle Lueg Pass to Golling. Highlights along the way include the Liechtenstein Gorge, the Pongau Cathedral, the Bischofshofen ski jump, Hohenwerfen Castle and the Ice Giant World. The “legendary” 25 km route from St. Johann to Werfen is ideal for families, as it runs comfortably along the Salzach and provides you with many exciting legends along the way. Just look out for the signs along the route!
