It is important to us that you have a cosy retreat in the middle of the mountains. A place where you can quickly get away from it all and into Austrian easy living. Stylish, comfortable and with “soul”. That’s why we have dedicated our 44 rooms, 22 suites and 3 single rooms to individual members of the owner’s family and furnished them accordingly. The interior and ambience are all about Austrian joie de vivre and hospitality.

Suite AntoniaAntonia is the uncrowned princess among the founder's descendants. Her "savoir vivre" is the patron of the most exclusive suite in the house. This light-flooded luxury retreat leaves nothing to be desired: From the sleeping area with king-size bed and walk-in wardrobe, it is only a few steps to the comfortable wicker armchairs on the balcony, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. The large living room with fireplace has a chill-out area and a dining area for four people. A special luxury is also the XXL bathroom with private sauna, whirlpool and separate shower. For all those who, like Antonia, live by the "if you do, then you do" principle.

Suite MarieIf our Antonia had had another daughter, she would have been named Marie. Of course, the mum would have created the best conditions for the offspring to experience as much security and happiness as possible. That's exactly why we call our newest luxury accommodation Suite Marie. It offers you a beautiful ambience, all the comforts and space you need to be happy. This includes a separate bedroom with king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe and a cosy living room with sofa bed. The large furnished south-facing balcony with a magnificent panorama is like an extra room with a built-in light shower. Here you are sure to experience a few starry hours during your stay!

Suite BarbaraThis stately suite is dedicated to the pioneer of the Höllwart hotel dynasty. The dimensions here are as large as her courage: In addition to the spacious bedroom with king-size bed and walk-in wardrobe, a separate living area with a large couch and tiled stove offers plenty of space for cosy get-togethers. The large, bright bathroom with separate WC also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of comfort and privacy. The suite owes its natural charm to the many wooden components in combination with indirect light and earthy colours. The furnished, cozy balcony offers a view of the natural surroundings that will put you in a good mood at any time of day.

Juniorsuite JohannaWith vision and dedication, Johanna Höllwart built this hotel together with her husband in 1965. Our Junior Suites reflect her esprit most vividly. That's why you can particularly enjoy life in these premium rooms: the furnished balcony opens up wide views of the valley, while inside everything invites you to curl up and enjoy. You don't know where to stretch out first - on the king-size bed, sofa, armchair or on the terrace/balcony. In addition, you can conjure up the most diverse lighting moods or discover the broad entertainment programme for yourself. Children also like having so much room to play, as they can sleep comfortably with their parents.

A little paradise for big and small guests that will quickly become a second home.

Anton DeluxeWithout Anton, there would never have been an Oberforsthof. The resourceful farmer and landowner determined the location of the hotel and empowered his son Hans with wife Johanna to put his vision into practice. That's why we named our best-selling room category after him. High-quality wooden inventory, bright colours and many comfortable details ensure that you can sleep AND live in the best way in these rooms. This also applies to the children, who can be comfortably accommodated here. They can take in the weather from the balcony/terrace and see what the day will bring.

Double room Hansi PLUSIndividual design meets organic materials, earthy colours and refined light architecture. Plus a beautiful balcony facing the sunrise. This cocktail creates a relaxed comfort zone where you feel right at home. The Hansi rooms are dedicated to the joie de vivre and hospitality of Oberforsthof founder Johann Höllwart. He impressively exemplified how to carry guests on your hands with heart and soul.

Double room EmilThis category is dedicated to the tomboy of the family who prefers to roam outside and actually only goes to his room to sleep. The spacious double rooms with balcony have all the comforts - only the orientation is not our very best. That's why Emil is our cheapest room category. Ideal for those who like it rustic and don't attach so much importance to a dream panorama. The rooms, lovingly furnished with lots of wood, create a homely atmosphere and offer everything you need to feel good. Just the way free spirits like it.
