Delicious half-time: lunch & snack

Fresh air works up an appetite – whether you’ve been out and about or simply relaxing. That’s why, in the early afternoon, a lovingly prepared buffet awaits guests of all ages: for our younger guests, there’s a children’s buffet, whilst adults can look forward to soup of the day, a cold snack with fresh salads, cheese and cold meat specialities, as well as homemade cakes and ice cream. If you’re looking for even more indulgence, you can of course choose from our à la carte menu at your leisure.

  • Snack: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (summer), 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (winter)
  • Children's Afternoon Buffet: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (for children up to 14 years old)
  • Dinner: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Children's menu or children's buffet; depending on the number of children in the household)

If that’s not quite enough or you feel hungry again later in the day, you’re welcome to explore our à la carte snack menu, available daily from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Choose from a variety of delicious dishes and enjoy an extra treat whenever you like.

If you can’t get out of your lounge chair, you can have an ice-cold drink served right into the garden.

Being a kid would be great!

Our youngest Oberforsthof guests can almost always be found enjoying an ice cream in the afternoon. During the summer months, they can also help themselves at our juice bar throughout the day. And when hunger strikes, our special children’s menu, available in the afternoon, offers a selection of tasty dishes specially prepared for our little guests. Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it?
